Microblading Preparation

Must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo in the state of Washington, please bring a photo ID. It is highly recommended  that you avoid microblading while pregnant/breast feeding.

24 hours priorNo caffeine, alcohol, Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen.

3 Days prior: No tanning or waxing.

1 week prior: Stop omega-3 (fish oil) intake. 

2-3 weeks prior: No antibiotic intake, Botox (brow area), chemical peels, retinol/vitamin A, glycolic acid, dermabrasion, laser or any other intense chemical/exfoliation treatments. 

Optional: Feel free to apply make-up to your brows as you typically would and/or bring/e-mail photos for reference.

After Care

weeks after your appointment your brows are considered fully healed. During this time period it is important to follow after care instructions for the most optimal results/healing.

During healing: No omega-3 (fish oil) intake -waxing can resume 4 weeks after -tanning/ intensive sun exposure is best to be avoided but may resume 2 weeks after, along with chemical/exfoliation treatments (always avoid chemical treatments ON your tattoo). -Botox allowed 1 week after.

For the first 7 days avoid directly wetting your brows, sweating profusely, or coming into contact with steam. Keep brows as dry as possible, have a clean towel near by to pat dry if they become wet. When washing your face avoid the brow area/ when showering avoid letting water hit you directly in the face. DO NOT pick, scratch, or peel brows. No make-up  or products applied ON brows. Avoid sleeping on your face and sun exposure. 

FIRST 3 DAYS, 3 TIMES EACH DAY : Starting the day of your appointment (2-4 hours after) gently wipe brows (NO SCRUBBING) with aftercare wipe or warm water damp cotton round to remove lymph/previously applied cream (ALWAYS PAT DRY). Apply a very thin film of ointment supplied with clean finger tips. Repeat 3 times each day for the first 3 days to keep the wound clean and prevent thick scabs from forming.

FOLLOWING 7 DAYS: Discontinue wiping brows, apply thin film of ointment with clean finger tips 1-2 times per day for oily skin, and 3-4 times per day for dry skin. 

7 + DAYS/THINGS TO AVOID FOR THE LIFE OF YOUR TATTOO: Discontinue use of ointment. Avoid: sunscreens containing zinc (tattoo safe sunscreens are best), chemical peels, fruit acids, retinol products, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors, laser treatment, hormonal therapy. If you need to use any products/treatments listed above, it is advised you do not apply directly to the tattoo. It is important to remember that for some microblading is a two step process depending on skin type and desired results. 6-8 week Touch-up appointments are $100, any additional touch-ups or touch-ups after 8 weeks are priced based on time since previous service.
